ICELAND WINTER TOUR
MAR 10 – MAR 17, 2018
The South of Iceland is an experience on its own – specifically in Winter: landscapes covered with snow, moody sundowns and the possibility to experience Northern Lights at night – this is what makes this workshop special. With a very small group of max. 6 workshop participants we will keep a maximum of flexibility and discover the best photo spots at the right time.
Iceland is considered a paradise for landscape photographers for good reasons. We will take photos of impressive landscapes, beautiful waterfalls, glacier lagoons and natural beaches.

Fee 2377 € the first 4 people get a discount of 150 Euros!
We will choose accomodation that is typical for the country we’re visiting. All places are carefully selected to allow for best overall experience.
Date & Duration
The workshop takes place close to the end of Northern lights season. As we will spend an entire week in Iceland, the likeliness to observe Northern lights during one of the nights is pretty high.
Group Size & Price
The workshop fee is reasonably low given the very small group size. You will receive best value for your money, and there is sufficent time to instruct each workshop participant individually.
Our main focus will be on photographing landscapes during sunset and sunrise. During the nights we will watch out for Northern lights.
We will meet on the evening in Iceland/Reykjavik. We will go for dinner and start the tour at the next day.
The next day, we will travel to the south. We will see waterfalls like Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss. Also the area around Vik with fantastic beaches and sea stacks.
The third day we will go east. Make some shots in a great canyon and lava fields until we will arrive the area around the Glacier Lagoon.
Two days we will stay in this area. Also we want to go more east. Vestrahorn one of the best mountains for photos is waiting for us 🙂
The next day we go back to Vik. On the way we will make a Stop at a glacier and also make a hike to the waterfall called svartifoss.
On the seventh day we will visit the “Golden Circle” and also my favorite waterfall called Bruarfoss. After that we will arrive Reykjavik.
After a bus picked you up in the morning you will fly home.
